Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of TradePad ("the Service"), operated by TradePad IE (County Limerick, Ireland). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
TradePad helps self-employed professionals and small businesses manage clients, scheduling, services, materials, expenses and invoicing.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure, for all activity under your account, and for providing accurate information.
3. Your data and your clients' data
You are responsible for the data you enter, including your clients' personal data, and confirm you have a lawful basis to process and upload it. For that data you are the controller and TradePad is your processor (see the Privacy Policy).
Our commitments as your processor (Article 28)
When you use TradePad to store personal data about your own clients, you are the controller and TradePad is your processor. In that role, TradePad will:
- process that data only on your documented instructions and to provide the Service;
- ensure people authorised to process the data are bound by confidentiality;
- apply appropriate technical and organisational security measures (Article 32) — encryption in transit, encrypted off-site backups and access controls;
- use only the sub-processors listed in the Privacy Policy, under equivalent obligations, giving you reasonable notice of new ones so you may object;
- assist you, considering the nature of the processing, with data subject requests and with your security, breach-notification and data protection impact assessment obligations;
- notify you without undue delay after becoming aware of a personal data breach affecting your data;
- on deletion of your account, remove your data from the live system (encrypted backups are overwritten on a rolling schedule of up to 6 months); and
- make available the information reasonably needed to demonstrate compliance with this clause and allow for audits on reasonable prior notice.
International transfers are handled as described in the Privacy Policy (adequacy decisions or EU Standard Contractual Clauses).
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to break the law, infringe others' rights, upload unlawful content, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the Service.
5. Availability & fees
We work to keep the Service available and backed up, but provide it "as is" without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability. If and when the Service becomes paid, fees will be presented separately before you subscribe; during any free or beta period it is provided free of charge.
6. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
7. Liability & governing law
To the extent permitted by law, TradePad is not liable for indirect or consequential losses; nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law. These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction.
